DHS HSIN

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has recognized the great support our team has provided the Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN) Program by awarding ValidaTek the follow-on HSIN Systems Support contract, which not only includes the Tier 1 and Tier 2 support we’ve been providing since July 2019, but also adds Tier 3 operations support and engineering work along with surge support. HSIN is the trusted network for Homeland Security mission operators to share Sensitive but Unclassified (SBU) information. Federal, State, Local, Territorial, Tribal, International and Private Sector Homeland Security partners use HSIN to manage operations, analyze data, send alerts and notices, and share the information they need to do their jobs. HSIN hosts functions such as software development, functional quality testing, user acceptance testing, performance testing, and disaster recovery in a Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) High compliant public cloud environment. ValidaTek will continue to provide 24x7x365 tiered-support to the HSIN Program from the ValidaTek Operations Center (VOC) located in our Headquarters office in McLean, VA, as well as on-site and remote work to support the 120,000+ registered users of the HSIN system. We are very excited to continue to support the HSIN Program’s important Homeland Security mission and thank the HSIN team for their hard work and dedication over the past 2 years that contributed to this contract award and will help ensure our continued success under the new contract.
