USCG VTS
ValidaTek was recently awarded a contract to provide System Administration support for the U.S. Coast Guard's Vessel Traffic Service (VTS) System. The VTS System is installed at 12 Vessel Traffic Centers (VTC) around the country including Prince William Sound, Puget Sound, Valdez, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles/Long Beach, Houston-Galveston, Berwick Bay, Louisville, Saint Mary's River, Port Arthur, Tampa, and New York. Watch standers at each of these VTCs rely on the system to monitor and provide navigational advice for vessels operating in particularly confined and busy waterways. The system is supported by a team of six at the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber & Intelligence Service Center (C51SC) in Portsmouth, VA.
This important win has allowed us to continue growing our presence at the C51SC in Portsmouth, VA and more importantly, provides us a new opportunity to support the U.S. Coast Guard.
