ValidaTek continues to grow our support to the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) in Portsmouth, Virginia with our most recent contract award for system support services for the USCG Unclassified Common Operating Picture (UCOP). UCOP is a Command and Control (C2) system that aggregates information relevant to C2 activities from multiple sources, correlates that data, and distributes it to other USCG systems. UCOP processes data related to: geographic information, activities and elements, assets, planning, readiness, intelligence, reconnaissance and surveillance, imagery, and the environment data. Under the contract, we will provide support through June 2022 in the areas of: system and database administration, virtualization management and administration, system security, data storage, system trouble reporting, and documentation support. This award follows our recent re-compete award of our support to the SeaWatch and Sea Commander programs and demonstrates the outstanding support our staff have provided for the past two years under that contract. We look forward to creating synergies and sharing lessons learned and best practices across the UCOP and SeaWatch/Sea Commander programs to provide the best support possible to these mission-critical systems.
