DHS PKI RE-COMPETE

Earlier this quarter, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) awarded a contract to ValidaTek to continue providing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) support for a period of performance of two years, through January 20, 2022. This award demonstrates the outstanding support that ValidaTek has been providing for over 5 years to the DHS PKI program. ValidaTek provides essential PKI, Identity Credential and Access Management (ICAM), and cybersecurity capabilities that protect the United States against cyber threats, in addition to highly specialized expertise necessary for developing forward-leaning, actionable information assurance policies. We support the DHS PKI Program with a broad range of functions in the areas of program management, security, engineering, and architecture support. The PKI Team provides DHS with Enterprise-level PKI-related services at the Agency level, as well as individualized support to the 17 DHS Components. We also support the PKI Operational Support mission to enable secure enterprise communications, provide highly reliable enterprise-level PKI services, enable networks and applications to utilize PKI, and capitalize on PKI investments to secure DHS systems. We provide support across three high-level workstreams: Services, Engineering, and Policy and Governance. These three workstreams support Federally mandated reporting and analytics, provide engineering and design support for DHS PKI systems, support cybersecurity operations, governance, and training at the enterprise level. We would especially like to thank Andrea Shanholtz-Coulson and the rest of the DHS PKI Team for positioning ValidaTek to win this re-compete through their commitment to the mission of the client and delivery excellence.
