ValidaTek continues to expand our excellent work at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). We were recently awarded a task order supporting the Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Office. The CWMD Office has a very important Homeland Security mission and is responsible for detecting and protecting against the importation, possession, storage, transportation, development, and use of unautho­rized chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear materials, devices, or agents in the U.S., and to protect against attacks using such materials, devices, or agents against the people, territory, or interests of the U.S. Under this task order, we are providing a range of IT services including IT operations support, knowledge management, and information security.Our support encompasses all areas of IT implementation, operations, and sustainment. Our services will help CWMD establish and provide a secure and trusted computing environment enabling CWMD to leverage IT resources to effectively share information with a variety of Federal, State, Local, and International partners and stake­holders in accomplishing the CWMD mission and functions.
