Our Department of Homeland Security (DHS) business expansion strategy continues to be on an upward trend with our most recent contract award to support the DHS Office of the Chief Information Officer. On July 31st, ValidaTek was awarded a contract with scope that includes the full range of service operations to the Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN) to provide stakeholders across the Homeland Security Enterprise with effective and efficient collaboration for decision making, tiered secure access to data, and accurate, timely information sharing and situational awareness. Out of the ValidaTek Operations Center (VOC), located in our Headquarters Office in McLean, VA, ValidaTek will establish a tiered service desk capability that will apply ITIL best practices and our processes that are appraised at CMMI for Services Level 5 to provide 24x7x365 support that is critical to both day-to-day operational decision-making and successful execution of large-scale emergency operations.

ValidaTek will be responsible for ensuring that HSIN, the only Federal portal that provides information sharing among DHS and its Federal, State, local, territorial, tribal, international, and private sector partners, are able to seamlessly access and operate the full ecosystem of applications for information sharing and coordination across all DHS mission areas. ValidaTek is also responsible for providing testing support (e.g., user testing support, production and testing environment) and management support for all applications within the HSIN boundary. This contract aligns with our strategy to be a trusted and value-added partner to DHS for providing information technology capability critical to mission execution.
