Capital Area Food Bank

On Saturday, June 2nd, our ValidaTek employees and volunteers joined Capital Area Food Bank in Washington, DC on the front lines of the distribution process. ValidaTek held its Annual DC Metro Area Picnic on Saturday, June 16th at Fort Hunt Park in Alexandria, VA. Employees, family and friends were able to enjoy a lovely sunny day full of great food and fun activities! The Capital Area Food Bank is the largest organization in the Washington metro area working to solve hunger and its companion problems: chronic undernutrition, heart disease, and obesity. By partnering with 444 community organizations in DC, MD, and VA, as well as delivering food directly into hard to reach areas, the CAFB is helping 540,000 people each year get access to good, healthy food.
